Foxe's Book of Martyrs
Foxe's Book of Martyrs is a sad yet excellent read. It details the lives and deaths of numerous Christian saints from 100-1700 A.D. It also includes information about the lives of some of the saints mentioned in the New Testament. The atrocities that these people endured cannot help but strengthen your faith and make you fell grateful that you live in an age where religious liberty is permitted.
